The Contraception Box called “Youn Samjhayen Kaam Ki Baat “ was developed as a portable tool for training and counseling in the area of contraception. The Sahiya or the ASHA worker ( NRHM- Village Health Worker) will typically open the box to display contraception choices pasted on the flaps. The “menu” or “basket of contraceptives” is shown to a potential client, then discussed in detail in order to assist them to pick a contraception of their choice.
